Spicy Shrimp Pasta Recipe

    • 1 pound of rigatoni pasta

    After preparing all the necessary ingredients as above. Let's start making Spicy Shrimp Pasta. Please follow the steps below:

    Instructions:


    • Boil water in a large saucepan
    • Add rigatoni pasta to the pan
    • Cook until cooked, cooking time according to the instructions on the pasta box
    • Reserve 1 cup of water for later use
    • Heat a large skillet to medium heat
    • Add olive oil to the pan
    • Then add the large, shelled shrimp to the pan in one layer
    • Season with 1/4 teaspoon red pepper and a pinch of salt
    • Cook for about 2 minutes or until pink
    • Transfer the shrimp to a plate
    • Next, add the chopped onions to the pan, cook until clear
    • Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds
    • Immediately add white wine to the pan and lift the chocolate slices from the bottom of the pan
    • Add diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup of fresh basil, 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper, and salt
    • Mash the tomatoes slightly and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes
    • Stir in half and half and cook 1 more minute
    • Add the shrimp back to the pan, stir in the pasta, and 1 cup of the ordered cooking liquid
    • Season with salt and add 1/4 cup of freshly chopped basil
    • Additional topping (if necessary): parmesan cheese
    • Spicy Shrimp Pasta is ready to be served!
