    Instructions:


    • Heat a medium skillet to medium heat
    • Add diced bacon and cook until crisp, about 4-6 minutes
    • Remove and place the bacon on paper-coated tissue
    • To make cajun shrimp: add smoked paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and chipotle chili powder to a medium bowl
    • Mix and add shrimp to the bowl with the seasoning mixture, stir to coat the shrimp in the mixture
    • Heat a medium skillet to medium heat
    • Add butter to the pan, after melting add seasoned shrimp
    • Make sure the shrimp are in one layer on the pan
    • Saute the shrimp on one side for 2-3 minutes, turn them over and cook for another 1-2 minutes
    • Add lemon juice, fresh thyme, roasted red peppers, and bacon
    • Saute for 30 seconds, sit and lift
    • To make Smoud Gouda Grits: add water to the saucepan and bring to a boil
    • Gently shake the corn porridge
    • Reduce heat to medium, cover and let cook for 5-7 minutes while stirring until thick corn porridge
    • Add cheese, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt to taste
    • Keep stirring until the cheese has melted
    • Separate grits and shrimp mixture between 4 dishes
